Red Rock Canyon rises over the desert west of Las Vegas Boulevard, which is more commonly known as the Las Vegas Strip. It is a major thoroughfare that stretches for about 4.2 miles in Clark County, Nevada. The canyon is named because the canyon is a series of large red rock in the National Conservation Area (NCA).
